Sculpture of the Dolly Sisters, icons of the Jazz Age, for sale at Bonhams
An ivory and bronze sculpture by Demetre Chiparus of the identical twins known as the Dolly Sisters who took the world of entertainment by storm in the 1920s will be sold on 14th November at Bonhams New Bond Street, London. The carved ivory and bronze group made around 1925 is estimated to sell at £150,000 to £200,000.
